Deflections and scoops from low & high straight punches… Framing off, counter attacks (elbow, knee), step off the channel… With one arm behind my back.

Still one of the best in the class! πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ I’m not bragging or anything, I’m just saying, you get the techniques and principles polished… You should be able to do them with one arm behind your back.

Hmmm? πŸ€” BALANCE! You don’t realise how much both arms balance your structure… I mean you can have your feet perfect, your structure perfect… but as soon as one arm is disabled, your balance is slightly off… Especially when your working with deflecting/scooping oncoming strikes and countering with one arm.
Readjusting your balance/structure.

(I think my right foot may have been an extra two/three inches forward and to the right to adjust?)

It’s the extra bit of flexibility (hips), because you’re having to do everything with one arm! Twisting more, but keeping a solid structure.
