BOOK – Genius Inventor, America’s Newton in Historical Context (Thomas E. Stolper)… and why the majority is ALWAYS wrong!

“The question EVERYONE asks me in regards to Randell Mills and The Grand Unified Theory Of Classical Physics is “How can this guy claim to have single-handedly   overturned hundred years of theoretical physics, at the same discovered a clean new energy source, and yet no-one has ever heard of him?… Why is he not recognised globally as the genius you claim him to be?”… Well! 😉

That is an extremely difficult and complicated question to answer. The answer encompasses many aspects of the story including:-
– the failure of Cold Fusion (and Mills’ incorrectly labelling to)
– the rejection of new ideas of theories within physics (especially post 1926 Standard Quantum Mechanics)
– Tribalism and socialisation within academic structures
– Organised scepticism (including blatant slander and misinformation regarding Mills and his company)
– Reluctance to fully investigate or invest from within the US Government (Department of Energy, organised resistance from fossil fuel lobbies, what I suspect is organised campaign from intelligence agencies closely connected to oil industry)
– Modern philosophical biases
– Reluctance from fellow scientists, Universities and institutions regarding the risk of ostracism
– The fact new breakthroughs and paradigm shifts in science have historically been met with resistance from peers (Keynes)
– Mills’ lack of ‘physics’ credentials
– Issues regarding patent applications

The list is endless and ongoing, but I highly recommend the book by Thomas E. Stolper entitled ‘Genius Inventor: The Controversy about the Work of Randell Mills, America’s Newton, in Historical and Contemporary Context’.
(There is only ONE copy available at time of writing (Sept 2018), priced rather steeply at $1,593.96… and as to whether the author is willing to print upon request is unknown.)

Stolper has been a long time follower of Mills, and has expertly authored an account of how and why Mills’ work has been pretty much disregarded and ignored up to 2006 (and obviously still is today). It includes thorough research into Mills’ history, the cultural context of his work in regards to 20th century physics, names and places of those involved both supportive and critical, possible confirmations of Mills’ theory, various social and cultural reasons for it’s dismissal and  similar scenarios throughout scientific history, the ramifications this discovery will have upon theoretical physics, cosmology, energy industry… a monumental and truly historic story spanning a story that is over 100 years in the making, and due to now explode onto the world!

“The book is neither a biography of Mills nor a history of his company, BlackLight Power. The book tries to answer the question, why hasn’t their work had a friendlier reception? One answer: the 1989 cold fusion fiasco, with which Mills’ critics falsely identified him after he surfaced in The New York Times in 1991. Another answer: Mills’ sweeping challenge to the theoretical physicists, who journal editors, scientists, graduate students, science writers, science managers, venture capitalists, the funding agencies, Congress, and the attentive public alike are still taught to hold in awe, even though astronomy has now shown that their pet theories can explain less than 5% of everything out there. The book is extensively documented for those who would like to read more about any of the topics mentioned.”

It will be source of much of the information I intend to write about in this blog… … and no I’m not lending it out! (ONE COPY AT $1500! feck off!)

I also recommend the following TEDTalk…
“This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Paul Rulkens is an expert in achieving big goals in the easiest, fastest and most elegant way possible. Originally trained as a chemical engineer, he has moved his focus to the fascinating field of high performance.
